Boise State v. Virginia Tech Open Thread

Bsvsvt_medium

Like it or not, this game has serious national championship implications. Virginia Tech likely won't be in national championship contention, of course, but if Boise gets the win tonight then it's all downhill from here, with only a couple of semi-legitimate tests standing between them and an undefeated season. And with no offense intended to the Broncos, if you're an Alabama fan seriously hoping the Tide can repeat as national champions, Boise represents a potential turd in the punch bowl, so hopefully the Hokies can put an end to this one before it begins.

In any event, kick-off tonight is at 7:00 central at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, and the game will be televised on ESPN. Chime in here with all of your thoughts and comments.

and they each have a playing card value too (like 3 of clubs, queen of hearts etc…). a cool bar i used to frequent in Louisville will give it to you if you got an ace of spades. i never did. 150 for a bottle of PRB and 2.50 for a beam on the rocks. 5 dollars a round with tip for a broke regular like myself.

Anybody think Va Tech has a national title shot?

I love their offense and whey play in a relatively weak conference.

It's hard to say what's been most impressive. The seamless jump from AA? The ability to hit for average? The ability to hit for power? The 18 walks in 111 trips to the plate? The flair for the dramatic? When you're trying to isolate the most impressive aspect of Jason Heyward's game, there's a lot to choose from, and it's only been a month and a half.

We got a ball game again!

Born in NC, raised in Alabama, live in Hawaii. AND, I have been to 46 states. Without a doubt, the very finest land-locked state is Montana. We were thinking about getting a second house out there (as soon as I can afford a first one! LOL!).
