I remember leaving the Bama stadium that night. My wife was on the phone with her dad and I asked how the AU/MSU game turned out. She replied “Auburn won, 3 to 2”. I retorted, “No. They didn’t. You misunderstood him, because there is no way that that was the score.” We bickered until I passed an RV w/ a tv set up and saw the score.
Amazes me to this day.
