"The LSU-Arkansas game will be returning to what is, for lack of a better term, its traditional Friday slot.

The Tigers and Razorbacks played on the Friday after Thanksgiving every year from 1996-2008. The game moved to Saturday the last two seasons while the Alabama-Auburn game took the Friday CBS slot.

Now the Iron Bowl will move back to Saturday while The Battle for the Boot between the Tigers and Hogs will move to Friday."

Thank you Jesus!

"I guess I must stutter. Did I stutter? I'm not very clear on how I articulate. Maybe I need to go back to West Virginia and get some more hillbilly slang and maybe everybody can understand me a little better." - Nick Saban, because reporters haven't learned.

That took too long.

Friday was a bad idea. Who was responsible for orchestrating that move in the first place?

They got a name for the winners in the world...They call Alabama the Crimson Tide!

Actually...

It was pushed strongly by Auburn and Tom Tubberville.

Source?

I’m in agreement with everyone else. Glad to have the game back on Saturday. Friday football is for high school and Boise State.

Thank God. Everything just felt so awkward with our game on Friday and LSU on Saturday. This is something both sides can be happy about.

Thank freaking goodness.

Football is obviously superior to work, but it definitely hurt the bank account to have to turn down super long retail shifts on Black Friday.

I'm just glad it's still Thanksgiving weekend,

when I’m in the state visiting family. I generally couldn’t make it when it was the weekend before Thanksgiving.

If Bama never wins another national championship, the Barn will match our total in the year 2593. Please God, don't let me have a Futurama incident.
