I have a new girlfriend, and I have been unable to find anything wrong with her other than being a huge barn fan, so she may be a keeper. I haven't tried to hide my disdain for all things orange and blue, and with an epic beatdown about to happen, plus the IB coming up things could be a little tense. I am the one who posted the following last year during the discussion about whether to pull for the barn in the NC game.
Pull for the barn?
You should schedule a complete physical with your Dr., and be sure of his allegiance beforehand. You need to be certain of no hidden heart problems, and or weakened blood vessels that might pop causing a stroke. You should be sure of no stomach issues because this will cause the worst case of indigestion ever known to the medical community. I think you should also have a complete psychological evaluation, with the premise that you must have issues to even be thinking this, much less putting it in print. If you pass all these test, and still want to pull for the barn go for it. You might want to go ahead and schedule an appointment with your priest / rabbi / minister / imam for after the NC game for some much needed soul cleansing confessions. If you’re a muslim, you might want to strap some explosives to your body and tour the lovliest trailerpark on the plains, (just kidding ). As I said on another post “I couldn’t pull for the barn if they were playing a combo of Tenn. and Notre Dame.” I am no Dr. nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night but this is my prescription for your thoughts."
I could some sage advice from the wise people on RBR to help me out with this relationship. Thank you for your help
