Can it just end now?

OK, can we now put it to rest? Auburn and Alabama are not equals on the gridiron. And they never were. Please don't come around with seven out of ten. It's three of the last four or 41-34-1 all time. When was the last time Alabama was blown out by the Tigers? 1969? Bama has blown them out Seven times during that span. So please put your capguns away, we've got places to be .

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

The AU fans who annoy the most --

— don’t care. And will never stop.

Like the mosquito buzzing around your head at night, and no matter how many times you swat at it, it gets away, then you forget about it, and later go to bed, get comfortable, and in the quiet you hear that irritating high-pitched buzzing sound and know it’s still in the room…

The AU fans who have a 2010 NC sticker on their bumper, but bigger and higher up on the rear windshield, 28-27 stickers — they will always be with us.

Yesterday’s win was glorious. But I refuse to harp on the Iron Bowl score like some sort of mantra; as you say, we have more important things on which to focus (insert crystal football pic, or any of our fabled Rose Bowl teams, or just our letter A, here).

You don't need to convince America that AU and UA are not on the same level.

But you will never convince the Aubies.

The good news is they are stuck with Chizik for a while and outside of buying another once in a lifetime player they should be 7-5 every year and we could be (should be) starting a little streak on them. (That is assuming Nick Saban is still at Alabama in the year 2020.)

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

Unless

the current players and new recruits come to their senses *u will still have some decent talent to field against Bama. Cam said it, “The money’s too good”. Strange, whenever I look at their uniforms and their colors I wonder why anyone in their right mind would want to go there. Yet…they do. Go figure. Roll Tide, Roll!

I'm just ticked we gave them 14 points

It’s crap like that that ticks me off.

And Fluker’s false start on the first play of the game…YES I am a perfectionist.

Talent can only get you so far. Give me a player who has less talent, but the heart of a champion and the will to succeed.

The sack was 100% on AJ..

he held that ball for like 5 seconds. Inexcusable. He got greedy and forgot that the offensive line can’t block forever. The KO Return was also inexcusable. Sure DePriest went the wrong way but the damn kick landed on the 20…

I was most happy with he fact that we played for 60 minutes and came out on fire. After the MSU and Georgia Southern game, we needed a dominating performance to boost the confidence going in to the NC Game. Feels very much like our win against UF in ’09.

Really? I didn't think it was nearly that satisfying,

merely because the result was pretty much a foregone conclusion. The ‘09 SEC CG wasn’t like that.

God bless our Dark Lord.

as in we ended the season on a roll

have over a month to get healthy and game plan for LSU. Had we struggled again against AU, we’d would be spending that time talking about our mistakes and our mental focus. Instead, the team will have “6-9” plastered all over the weight room and yelled at them for 6-7 weeks.

Saban said during his presser that it was 50-50. AJ went through his reads, the checkdown guy went to the wrong side so AJ couldn’t find him & that split second led to him holding on to the ball too long.

when he pumped it and no one was there

he should have tucked it and got as many yards as he could. Sure, hindsight is 50/50 but the line blocked well. If there is no one open he needs to make the quick decision to tuck it not take the chance at getting sacked.

I aint mad at the kid, he played a great game but I feel that play was on him.

I agree, but IIRC he didn't have much room to run.

If not for that fumble, this would’ve been his best game of the year, FWIW.

God bless our Dark Lord.

I hate it when

those bunch of booger eating dilusional fans keep harping on the last 10 years and forget the rest of the history here. They call their win last year historic and I ask you what do you call a 42-14 asswhipping and all the while getting no offensive points and only 140 total yards and 14 gift points. Humiliation after the historic? Damn I hate them!

Yo, J...

…you’re an Alabama fan. You’re in such a better position than the boogs. Don’t stoop to let them get under your skin. Just brush it off, man…

a wonderful side note:

Don’t have to hear or read “defending National Champions” when pertaining to Auburn…ever….again. I still see AU bloggers use this term. Do they still think Auburn has a shot at the title?
