1. Ole Miss is averaging 4,695 in 6 home games so far. Sad.
2. Auburn is averaging 5,233 in 7 home games. In a season and a half, they have sold out three games in their brand new arena that seats a measly 9,121. They are: the 2010 inaugural game vs. UNCA in which many tickets were free; the 2010 Alabama game when they had the football championship ceremony, everyone left at halftime and Bama beat them; and a 2010 Mississippi State game. The next highest attendance has been 7,442 vs. Vandy in 2010.
3. Not surprisingly, the biggest bandwagon jumping school Georgia, has averaged 6,028 in 7 games. They could only manage 7,620 against rival Georgia Tech a few weeks ago.
4-5. MSU and LSU have both averaged around mid to lower 7,000's so far this season.
South Carolina stinks every year but have still managed to average 8,743 in 7 games
Arky is in for a long season but still average over 10,000 this season.
Alabama is averaging 11,318 NOT including the "neutral" game vs.
K-State Okl State in Birmingham which drew 16,685 13,808.
Tennessee may finish last this year but their smallest crowd has been 14,692 vs. Austin Peay.
Vandy, Florida and Kentucky average well into the 5-digits.
