Finally, an SEC bowl game. I mark the beginning of true bowl season with the first SEC bowl game and it's finally here. Mississippi State had a rough year this year despite their going to a bowl game. Their two conference wins were Ole Miss and Kentucky, which I'm pretty sure just about any FBS school could manage and then they beat up on a bunch of also rans from non-AQ conferences. Wake Forest actually beat some teams with a pulse and finished up with a winning conference record and beat a ranked team along the way. That being said, WF is in the ACC so that might not mean all that much.

Overall it is worth it (IMHO)

We are losing a lot of defensive players to graduation and early entry
but by gosh we are loaded with talent that is still unproven. However, i think these players have more experience and a better knowledge of the defense than the 2010 team.

I am pumped for the O next year. I am worried that Carter is done before he starts. Saban’s one word “no” when asked the other day said a lot IMO. I think the D will be better off than where we were after 2009. more stocked talent.

Mizzou and Arkansas are really the only schools that are close for him.

I think it's this year, but I want to say there are some loopholes that allow for more than 25.
But it’s not as easy as it used to be.
I love how Coach Saban loads up his classes full of blue chippers way before the year ends.

Ive been off for a week and I am not looking forward to going back. Started in January with DoD and it is slowly killing me. Lots of politics and childish behavior amongst the civilians.

Well I had to deal with some substance abuse issues.
But I’m better off for it even though it had some consequences I didn’t expect like divorce after 26 years of marriage. But really, life is better than ever and the ex and I are still friends.

Good that you are back on the right track.
I’ve had some acquaintances go through some of those things. So many people give up.
If I want to keep practicing in my profession I have to keep doing the things I'm suppose to do.
But it’s good. I’ve got more friends now than I’ve had since my 20s. People seem to love me more now.

It seems like Coach Saban doesn't get the recruits out of Mississippi.
We use to get a lot. I wonder if it’s a qualifying or character thing. We’ve missed on a few big ones over the last few years to their instate schools. You would think they would want to get the heck out of Mississippi. Look at all the ones that leave Georgia for Bama.

People are ruining the English language. It seems like everything has a double or triple meaning and you never know what you’re saying anymore.
Why can’t people just speak plainly and stop using code? AAHHH!

In my mind
the new meaning does not reflect the old. The new meaning indicates a massive reduction in numbers. That was not the case in the old. I see that that is what you were saying, I think.

That technically the old meaning didn’t specifically refer to a reduction in numbers as much as it referred to a form of destruction by way of reduction of numbers.
