I was just sitting here reading an article about AJ McCarron and Phillip Sims and in the article they mentioned that perhaps a two quarterback system would be something that Alabama could go to. That got me thinking about all the two quarterback systems I have seen at various schools over the years and how I don't remember any that really worked out. Can anyone tell me if there has been one that was sucessful and why you think it was?
I, for one, am not a fan of it because I think teams should have a clear cut leader. I know that we have at least two fine quarterbacks in Tuscaloosa and from what I've seen AJ McCarron still has a little growing up to do. I haven't seen enough of Simms to form an opinion on when it comes to leadership abilities.
