Rumor from Jox
Hearing on Jox that Cyrus is concerned with his rep among Bama fans. Not sure if it's true or not, but regardless I think
we should show the love to Cyrus. Like I said, just what I have heard, but it won't hurt to show the big man that we want
him in Crimson. Just a tag line on the off chance that he reads the greatest Bama Blog of the all.
Cyrus, come to Bama and put your name in concrete next to Joe Namath and Chris Samuels

The fact that we've talked about literally nothing else for the past 3 days
Should tip him off that we care.

I don't even
know how to answer that. Of course, EVERYONE at Bama wants him to go there. We would be honored and delighted that he would choose to further his football playing days at Bama. Especially alongside his Brother. And really, if he chose to go somewhere else and break away from playing alongside his brother, in a way I can understand that. He has the talent to start immediately at almost any school he chooses. But to choose to go to the biggest rival of Bama? Wow, man, that’s not the way to endear yourself to a fan base (if that is his concern). He clearly must not understand the intensity level of the rivalry the two schools have for each other. And I see no advantage, other than early playing time, in signing with au. He could get that at Penn St, Ohio St, Va Tech, or any number of schools with top-ranked FB programs and I’m sure he would receive blessings and good will from 95% of the Bama football supporters. au? Not so much. C’mon Cy, we want you at Bama, and CNS will prepare you, IMHO, for the next level better than that other school will.
Have a Crimson Tide Day!

Who wouldn't want to block for T.R.?
Particularly with the exposure, history, and next-level knowledge our staff can provide. I hope he truly does what he feels. I wouldn’t want him hating this decision, particularly if he comes here.

I won't be mad at him no matter what...but I would LOVE to see him and Arie play together.

Alabama fans are known for
their passion. Part of that passion includes welcoming in those who choose to become a part of something we believe to be very special, regardless of what their route to get there may be.
I don’t believe anyone here holds a grudge against Brent Calloway for “losing his way” for a little while. Arie is already a part of the Tide family and Cyrus belongs here, too.
Having followed my own brother to UA, I enjoyed sharing the college experience with him and sincerely hope that Cyrus doesn’t rob himself of that opportunity.
I wish he'd give Calloway a call.
So Calloway can tell him why he flipped, and then flipped back.

If he's worried about his rep . . .
. . . with Bama fans, he sure as hell won’t help that by signing with Auburn.
Cy! Tuscaloosa is a quite a hip, happening town.
We’ll see you there on A Day!
