I think they should just

take the Lee County High School squad and line them up against the Auburn starters. It would probably be a pick em’. I’d watch that.

The booger spring game even being considered is funny. This team lost 18 starters and 3 or 4 are going to be drafted. 2 of those are relevant and they are both juco, 1 year players. That means AU lost about 25 guys that signed with them out of high school and maybe two will sign deals and both of those will be 2nd day picks.

The difference is Saban doesn’t consider TV coverage when preparing for A-day yet “Cheese” probably started crying when he found out his efforts to get coverage were ignored. Thank goodness the booger infamy is over.

If you think Saban doesn't consider TV coverage when prepping for A-day,

I’d argue that you’re mistaken.

I don’t think we’d have to lobby too hard, but I’d be surprised if some phone calls weren’t made to help cement our case.

Yeah, you're right

If for no other reason, recruits, like anybody else, want to be on TV. My point I guess is you won’t see Saban flagging cameras down begging for attention, or watching espn and high-fiving assistants when a recruit commits. I also like how he is willing to tell the media to go to hell when they cross the line in a press conference.

I love watching the spring games televised from other schools.

Its hilarious to see 20,000 people at UNC or 25,000 at LSU.

Our spring day game- 100,000 maybe?

In the words of Bill Shakespeare,

“Citizens of that lowly place of education where they mate with bovines can go fornicate themselves forthwith!”

I think we can agree that you’ve hit a rough spot when Shakespeare even takes time to give you a shot to the ribs.

Charles Martel, Charlemagne, William the Conqueror, Raymond IV the Count of Toulouse, Godfrey of Bouillon, Baldwin of Boulogne, Henry II, Richard the Lionheart, St. Joan of Arc and Napoleon Bonaparte -- all of good stock.

Some of them even think

that our teams are equal. The delusional are overpopulating in West Georgia.

IIRC

Since they are so close to Georgia geographically, I think there was a tongue-in-cheek ‘push’ to get Alabama to redraw the border and give them to Georgia. Combine that with the “Where is Auburn?” question to anyone not from the south they’ll answer either Georgia or upstate New York.

I told them my system was based on the "ant plan," that I'd gotten the idea watching a colony of ants in Africa during the war. A whole bunch of ants working toward a common goal.

I usually don't

give any respect to anyone that cheats and lies to get to the top like the booger eaters did. Now a woman sleeping her way to the top is a whole different story.
