Update: Done with Horror flicks - no changes since last post. Sci-fi is next Monday - unless I can find a good Bama article about Spring practice to re-post instead.1T) Psycho & The Exorcist
2T) Halloween, Silence of the Lambs, The Omen & The Shining
3) Nightmare on Elm Street
4T) Jaws and Rosemary's Baby
Now on to your top ten favorite horror flicks. Like before, only those submitting a top ten will count towards the votes. We will cutoff voting by Friday morning.
I am defining a Horror movie as anything that succeeded in scaring the heck out of you and afterwards gave you nightmares. For example, I have known some people who decided to forego swimming in the gulf/ocean after watching Jaws.
Here are my top ten:
1) Jaws
2) Amityville Horror (1979 original)
3) The Exorcist (1973 original)
4) Alien
5) The Omen Trilogy - They made two more after the first three, but I can't comment as I didn't see those.
6) Nighmare on Elm Street (the first one)
7) Halloween (ditto)
8) Silence of the Lambs
9) The Changeling - George C. Scott (1980) - Highly recommend if you haven't seen it.
10) The Shining - Yes Jack Nicholson really is crazy.
