Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

It is actually a good thing that we were tipped off by Lee because if something is there we can avoid penalties before he enters. If nothing is there then the Calloway family should sue Lee. Clearly we knew nothing about this, that is why we are investigating. I totally suspect it is all bogus, but inspecting covers your backside.

Maybe we can declare him ineligble and then have the NCAA reinstate him in record time.

That is, faster than you can say…Peaches.

I actually think that very well may happen.

To me the most likely thing, other than this being a total lie which is most likely, but if there is any truth, the most likely thing is that Calloway got a free trip to some place like Disney World by this guy after his Bama visit.

Clearly a violation, but I don’t see it being set up by Bama or known by Bama. So we report that to the NCAA, declare Calloway ineligble, and they will reinstate with maybe a 2 game penalty. I can see that happening even though I suspect it really is all lies.

The whole thing about paying off a mortgage seems far fetched. I mean he isn’t Cam Newton. Newton can demand those kind of deals, but Calloway, I’d say 3 days 2 nights at Disney is about it. IF HE GOT ANYTHING AT ALL.

But, I have faith in our compliance department now (wow is that a change from days gone by) and they will go over everything with a fine tooth comb. They will check bank records, mortgage records, school attendance records, etc. If Calloway and Peaches stonewall, he won’t be coming to Bama. If they find nothing, there is nothing. Then it is time for all sladered parties to sue.

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

Lee

is getting exactly what he wanted. My question to him is this: why us Jeffrey? Did we notify the SEC regarding Cam? Did we produce the HBO special depicting your own former players accusing AU of cheating? Did we tip off the NCAA about Trooper and shady dealings in Louisiana? Did we force you to sign a kid associated with street agent Willie Lyles? If the answer to all of these questions are yes, then I ask again, why us?

You are right Ben

UA has really not even been involved in all of AU’s misdealings. I guess you could count that stupid radio has been who claimed to have tapes but that guy is not tied to Bama like Lee is to Auburn.

I guess the answer is that to attack Bama is the only way AU can defend themselves right now.
