NCAA loosens rules for Crimson Tide after tornado | al.com

"Some athletes without homes or electricity are now staying with coaches. Clothes and food can be bought. Airplane and train tickets can be purchased. Driving athletes places can be permitted." "The SEC granted a waiver for Alabama's baseball team to exceed its 27-player travel limit this weekend at Mississippi State. The extra players can't participate, but a Starkville hotel with food beats being homeless in Tuscaloosa." Don't think for one second this gets the NCAA off the hook with all their other tomfoolery, but it's good to know that in times of serious trouble there is some common sense left up there.
