SEC Softball Tournament Open Thread: #1 Alabama vs #8 Mississippi State

UPDATE: The Tide downed the Bulldogs 5-1 (Recap | Box Score) to advance to round two of the tournament and a whole new set of Bulldogs.  We'll take on Georgia, who mercy ruled LSU 9-0 this afternoon, at 4:30 for a shot at the championship game. Roll Tide.

Tennessee will face Auburn tomorrow afternoon at 2:00pm CST so someone please tell our girls to get clear of the stadium while we pray for meteors, while the winner of tonight's game will take on Georgia at 4:30.  Both games will be televised on ESPNU and available online at ESPN3.com.
