K.J. Choi donates $200,000 of his TPC winnings to tornado victims.
I knew I liked K.J. for a reason. The South Korean is donating $200,000 of his $1.71M worth of winnings from last weeks Player's Championship to benefit victims of the April 27th tornados. I find it heartwarming when professional athletes perform acts like this one. If only the media would put the same amount of effort forth to cover athletes and celebrities when they do the right thing as they do when they screw up.
Well done, Sir!

I have always liked KJ, been a fan of his for a long time
But I became a superfan last year when I saw him interviewed for the first time ever. This was just before the Masters, and if you recall it was Tiger’s return and KJ got paired with him. So naturally, the first question was, “What do you think about being paired with Tiger?” His response was, “Mr. KJ like.” Now the line in and of itself is kind of funny, but given his grasp on English it came out real slow and with a deep voice. I lost it, and started dying laughing, and have found myself pulling for Mr. KJ since.
That funny bit aside, Mr. KJ sure seems like an awesome guy, a man from South Korea with no ties what so ever trying to help out strangers. I have been pulling for him for well over a year now, and this act cements it, he is now by far and away my favorite.
Go Mr. KJ!
I can tell you this
KJ is a class guy. We need to make him and honorary alum or something.
If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.
I can now pull for KJ to win a major.
He really is a class act.

I've always liked KJ and didn't know exactly why...
Now I do.
KJ Choi is my new favorite golfer.
God Bless Him!
No connection to Alabama either.
Just a class act by a class guy.
He is known for giving a portion of his winnings to a church in the area where the tournament is hosted, and he has a foundation that benefits underprivileged children around the globe. This, however, is a much bigger donation after winning his biggest tournament ever.
Also Wiki says he was able to squat 350 pounds as a 95 pound 13 year-old teenager! How did Houston Nutt miss out on this guy?
