I could not find many evaluations out there from Rivals or Scout, but the coaching staff certainly sees something in the kid to offer him a scholarship. He certainly offers great size for the DL position. He will likely play the role formerly occupied by Mt Cody, and currently being occupied by Murphy, Williams, et al.
The 6-foot-3, 328 pound defensive lineman from York Sumter High was offered a scholarship within the past two weeks.
He offered his pledge while attending Alabama's lineman camp Saturday to become the Crimson Tide's 14th commitment for the 2012 signing class.
