You might not remember Vince Sutton. He was a Crimson Tide backup quarterback who had one shining moment in 1988 when he lead Alabama in a second half comeback against Kentucky. Today he's the head football coach at Dawson Street Christian School in LaGrange, Ga. and awaiting a kidney transplant that will save his life. Don Kausler Jr. has Sutton's moving story in today's Birmingham News (as well as this addendum) and it's well worth taking a moment of your morning to read.
