Twitter Handles?

Aight, everybody. A post like this one may have been made before but if it was I never saw it, so forgive me. I've had a Twitter account for awhile now and have done basically nothing on there, but some of the regulars on here seem to have some fun with it. Figured I'd start a thread where those who were comfortable doing so could share their handle to create a big 'ol RBR Tweetin' fest. You can find me if you like @JChath8. Anyone else?

Editor note: Given the response to this we've made it the RBR twitter team request thread. If you are a regular commenter on the site and would like to be listed on our RBR Regulars Twitter list, please post your Twitter name in the comments below. This way we aren't adding folks who would prefer their personal Twitter account to stay private.

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

I honestly looked up foursquare to try to "get it"...

I don’t…

When I saw mayors and badges and whatnot, I guess my head exploded. In 2 words or less: what’s the deal with it?

"There's a lot of blood, sweat, and guts between dreams and success" - Coach Bryant

by TopDaddy on Aug 24, 2011 1:05 PM CDT up reply actions

you just "check in" in different

places around your city or any where for that matter. You get points for checking in and if you check in a lot in one place you can become the “mayor”. Meaning you get more points for checking in. Also business will give you free stuff for checking in. For instance my gym offers a free month to the mayor of 4 square at the end of the month. A couple restaurants will give you free appetizers….

I use it to show how boring my life is…

Hey! I know you too.

I follow quite a few RBR regulars on Twitter. Thought it was finally time I registered here and joined in the fun:-)

@BobbyAtkinson

I post on twitter much more than here at RBR (I’m even, at times, witty and insightful. Rarely though.) I’m doing an internship at Tide Sports covering recruiting this semester so I’ll probably be tweeting about that alot

we tend to avoid the nitty gritty of recruit news

opting for a roundup by todd or ots every so often. it’s far too fluid and well… creepy, to cover constantly. but since you’ll be on the rbr regulars twitter list, anyone following that will get your updates. so that might work even better for everyone.

and good luck with the internship.

I don't anticipate my tweets being filled with recruiting info. (I'd probably get in trouble for that since some of the articles will be behind a paywall)

I mostly just use it for stray observations, and, of course, the occasional snide remark.

Why do you keep saying 'done'?

If you intermittently state that you are ‘done’, doesn’t that mean “not done”?
