Ok, so kicking a man in the face is very alarming. I was equally alarmed when I saw this: "a day after police seized 49 pairs of athletic shoes from Jefferson’s apartment. Baton Rouge police Sgt. Don Stone wouldn’t explain why police took the shoes." 49 pairs of shoes? Holy Imelda Marcos! That is a lot of shoes for a college kid with no job...
