Every week I'm going to put one of these up to test our RBR prognosticators in order to separate the players from posers. Since I know there are some of the superstitious ilk who won't predict an outcome for Bama, feel free to guess the outcome (and give some rationale or witty banter to explain why) for other SEC matchups or key contests.
Alabama vs. Kent State: Alabama Wins 49-7
The Tide comes ready to play, despite the fact that certain spots remain open not only for the offensive line, but for the WR and QB positions. McCarron, Phillip Sims and Blake Sims get playing time at QB. Both passing and rushing games pickup big yardage (550 total yards for offense) as the OL does an outstanding job of preventing QB/RB pressure. DeAndrew White puts up more than 70 yards receiving, which is not bad considering it's his first start.
Georgia vs. Boise State
The Dawgs, tired of their past and eager to prove their mettle start off strong, but a young D with only 6 returning starters, fades in the end and is unable to prevent the Broncos from putting more points on the board. The Broncos win this one 24-17.
LSU vs. Oregon
Oregon couldn't stop the defensive line of Auburn. Now they have another SEC defense that's far better than the one they experienced in the BCS game. While the game is very close for the first half, LSU pulls away in the second and beats the ducks 21-10.
