We're almost exactly a day away from Alabama football and the last 24 hours are always the hardest. If you need a fantastic diversion you might want to check out the photograph archive on the Bryant Museum's Facebook page.

You'll find some great memories from the history of Alabama Crimson Tide football as well as some questionable sartorial decisions made by Coach Bryant and other folks during the 1970s. But, the fact is, when you are a winner, you can wear whatever you want.

Looks like oysters on the half shell to me!

I guess wearing them can have the same effect as eating them.

The last time I ate oysters

Was at Wentzell’s. I found a pearl. True story.

I don't remember that one specifically

But the man had some…cough…ugly…cough jackets. Ha. But yeah, that one looks a little ‘out there’ even with him.

That's... not very fashionable.

Um. I’m not Uni-Watch, but that pattern is quite ugly when paired with the houndstooth. I guess the iconic coaches wore whatever the hell they wanted and didn’t care what other people thought, or what we’d think now.

What is the patch on the side of Bryant’s houndstooth hat?

Be the change you wish to see in the world.

But I could be wrong.
