Counting a split in '97...

…Nebraska also has 3 since 1990. AP and Coach’s champs in ’94 and ’95, and split with Michigan in ’97. Just FYI.

I was referring to Nebraska.

Tied 3-3 with Florida. 3-2.5 lead over Nebraska.

Oh ok, got it...

My bad, misread it. I’ll refrain from trying to argue any of the other myriad of comments posted in here…congrats on your title fellas.

Fairly certain that Florida fans don’t know football existed before1990.

Which is better than LSU fans

who don’t think anything before 2003 happened

I live in LSpoo country as well

I’d take them over the Florida fans any day of the week. That may just be me though.

My ex-wife is a Florida fan

and I was married to her through the Tebow years. Its hard to say which fanbase is more annoying.

I'd bet we win another one before UF does.

They are on the way down.

Most likely SEC Teams to win the next NC in order of likelihood:
1. Bama
2. LSU
3. SC
4. Arky
5. UGA
6. Texas A&M
7. UF

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

i'm not that high on SC's chances...

…and I think you’re selling UF a little short. They just won in 2008 and won 13 games in 2009, and they’re still the only SEC school in talent-rich Florida. Coming off a crap year, they’re still hauling in very good recruits. I REALLY hope you’re right, but I don’t think so.

Before UF can win it all they must get a new coach.

The only way WM will win a NC is if the second coming of Cam Newton lands in his arms. And JF is out recruiting him.

SC has a coach who can win it all. Plus being in the east, and not having Bama or LSU on their permanent rotation is a huge advantage.

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

Our chances next year

I’m not sure we won’t have a reasonable chance next year. While we lose leadership on defense, we still keep many players w game experience, even if they weren’t starters. I wonder if Lacy will step up ( though I see no reason to doubt he can). I’m really excited about our O-line and passin game’s potential.

Between Lacy, Dee, and Yeldon, our backfield will be fine.

Our offense should be killer, and our defense should be top 10 at worst. We’ll be in the hunt.

Bama's backfield

has nothing to worry about for years to come

One thing which goes against us next year is schedule.

We probably can’t lose a game again and get in just because the odds say it will be 2 undefeateds next year. We play at Arky, at LSU and have a tough Michigan game to boot. It will hard to go 13-0. Not impossible—just hard.

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

Ehh, objectively I would give LSU a better shot than us next year.

Also, I think UF will be back sooner than you think. With their resources, they won’t stay down long. And SC is not likely to win the NC ever.

God bless our Dark Lord.

According to Vegas, it's...

1. LSU – 3.85 to 1
2. Bama – 5 to 1
3. UGA – 12 to 1
4. Arky – 18 to 1
5. USCe – 30 to 1
5. Florida – 30 to 1
6. Auburn – 50 to 1
7. Miss St – 65 to 1
8. Mizzou – 85 to 1
9. Tennessee – 100 to 1
9. Auburn – 100 to 1

For next year, anyway…

I agree with Vegas (at least 1-4)

after that, it’s just pretend.

I would agree with 1-(both)5

but why is Auburn listed twice?

To see if anyone was paying attention...

In all seriousness, I don’t know. Then must’ve been listed like that on the list I was copying.

Or maybe Vegas is sending a message

I think AU #6 is supposed to be A&M

I’d put SC above UGA. Richt can not get it done. He just can’t.

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

Actually I think it's A&M at 100 to 1. That was the mistake.
