Latest Roll Michael Roll update
First, I'd like to thank the Roll Bama Roll community for their prayers and support for my friend Mike. For those who don't know the whole backstory, Mike is a nursing student at UA and was supposed to attend Monday's championship game in NOLA. He got into a terrible accident on New Year's Eve while visiting my family in Atlanta and on Wednesday was transferred back to DCH in Tuscaloosa.
The entire UA community has been incredibly supportive of my friend. In addition to getting a ball signed by Trent Richardson and other team members, check out the ambulance that came to pick him up in Atlanta:

That is the actual ambulance that travels with the Crimson Tide out of town and it had recently returned from New Orleans. I still think he's gonna be pissed he missed the game, but he definitely got a lot of love from the Crimson Tide family.
You can keep up with his progress at his Facebook page. Thanks and God Bless. And, as always, Roll Tide Roll.

Glad he was able to transfer back, finally.
Hope the pneumonia is under control, or even gone by now. Looking forward to hearing he’s awake. I say a prayer for him every time I see your post.

Thank you
damnit, didn’t mean to post that. I was gonna say I know the whole “positive energy” thing sounds like Hippie BS, but I really do think it has helped comfort his family which in turn has helped create a better environment around him. Again, UA community has been phenomenal to him and his family. He’s a class act. Worked the med center tent after the tornado. He lost his car during that, but wasn’t injured though he had a close call. Now this. It clearly is not this guy’s time. And that’s a good thing.
