Alabama D.... not as good as I first thought

On watching the game again today without the emotions of the title on the line I was able to really enjoy it. That said, the Alabama D was not up to scratch in my opinion. I know they are just kids and have a long way to go but I really feel Saban needs to go hard on them for the amount of time they needed to show progress against the LSU offense. Case in point, if you look at the 4th Q there is still 7:58 remaining on the clock when LSU gets over the 50 and ends up on the 31, the real problem is that it took the bama D almost 2 minutes (1 min 41 seconds) in order to throw them back across the 50. We really should of been able to keep it under 60 seconds I think, just like Bruce Lee! 60 seconds, anywhere anytime! Then add in that stupid penalty they gave away.... grrrr so mad........
I wasn't totally sold on this D being the best ever... but really... after that performance, you see worse defense in the bloody NFL, what an amazing team! ROLL TIDE!!!! #14 BABY!!!!!!!
