Has Les Miles lost his team?
This may just be an attempt by LSU homers to find blame much like the great outcry of "if Colt had not gotten hurt" butthurt of 2009. Regardless, according to this article, there was nearly a revolt prior to the BCSCG, after a few LSU upperclassmen confronted Coach Miles about playing time and Jefferson's preparation leading up to the game. I tend to believe this may be exagerrated but who knows?
--Update--
Just after posting this I saw where T-Bob Hebert Tweeted the following: "There is absolutely no truth to any of these ridiculous rumors going around about this team! Please spread the word don't taint this season"

nah
This is a lot of baloney.
First off, it’s not like LSU went gangbusters against Bama the first time. They only drove the ball once to score in the first game – the other two FGs came off an INT and OT field position. So the offense went from scoring 3 points to 0 points. Not exactly a stupendous decline.
The game plan for this game (for LSU) resembled the game plan for LSU in the first game after Jefferson was brought in. The main difference was that Bama had the option totally figured out on the second go ’round, whereas in the first meeting LSU had more success. Oh, and in the first one they had one long pass that set up a field goal – they almost had that in the second one, but Vinnie Sunseri drilled JJ before he got the ball out.
It’s easy to see why LSU may have thought sticking with the option was a good idea. Hightower and Upshaw are both oversized linebackers that appeared to struggle against the only teams that ran the option against Bama this year – GaSo and LSU. On a faster field where you’d think a speed disadvantage for Bama would be amplified, it might make sense to go back to the option. In hindsight, this was clearly an inferior strategy as we were ready for it, but since when has Miles been known as a great strategist? and the alternative, Lee, has thrown 7 INTs (I think) against Nick Saban defenses: so was he really a better alternative? In other words, what could Les have done better in that situation, given the lack of quality at the QB position for LSU?
I have to call BS!
No doubt the play calling was about as bad as I have seen, but all season LSUs defense, special team play and mistakes from the other team won games.
Alabama played a darn near perfect game. One offsides penalty. Also, BAMA didnt hand LSU the ball.
Sounds like just looking for any excuse.

I was just referencing the pathetic writing.

the writing is awful
what the hell does a “tenured upperclassmen” mean?
This is not a black & white issue. It is an issue of team leadership (or lack of) & a coach that won’t listen to tenured upperclassmen

This is just people who were stunned that LSU lost trying to rationalize what happened
As cjbama said, LSU didn’t do squat against us in the last game other that with the option which we figured out. The biggest difference in this game is we executed on offense where were mistake prone in the first game (block in back after the in, Maze tripping on his own feet on the reverse, numberous motion penalties, etc.)

I hope this isn't true
If there is even a tiny bit of truth behind this quote then Miles needs to do some serious house cleaning.
Apparently the O Line sided with T-Bob and Lee and did not give their all in the game to prove to Miles that the players are more important then the coach.
Players who would blow a shot at a championship to prove a point wouldn't even be worth a scholarship.
I have a hard time believing things are that bad down there.
I know I have seen
earlier this year, where it was said that LSU’s defense was not disciplined, and that they were more or less ‘free-lancing’ (my description) when it came to shutting down offenses. That they were given more lee-way in their individual defensive pursuit as opposed to the very structured and disciplined defenses that CNS commands. I attribute this to their players being more ‘star-like’ than ‘team’ oriented. Could the same be said of their offense? CLM seems more interested in being liked than ‘commanding his troops’ Bama is so fortunate to have CNS on their sideline. Roll Tide!
Have a Crimson Tide Day!
Roll Tide, Saban Tsunami Roll!
I think you're on to something here...

Being loose and relaxed and a “player’s coach” is all well and good when you’re winning, but the true character of this LSU team was exposed with this loss.
Also worth mentioning: It is possible to be well prepared and focused and still get your ass kicked.

Well I had heard on espn ..grain of salt.
That Russell Sheppard was not happy about playing time. during the BCS game.Rueben Randle high tailed it out of Baton rouge as well for the draft.

First of all this is nothing.
Secondly Miles has not lost the team.
But, you need to remember Miles gives these guys way more freedom than Saban. It is just two different ways of coaching. Under the Miles system letting the players have a say or even have their way is what they do.
I fully expect LSU to be in the hunt next year for a NC & SECC. I think our game with them in BR next year will decide a lot of that. I do not think we will have the rematch again but Bama & LSU would have to be 2 of the 4 best teams next year for sure (I’d have USC & Oregon in that foursome as well.)
If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.
Mmmmm, foursome...

Despite their losses...
…I’d throw Arky in that mix as well. They will be deeper, their QB and Knile Davis return, and their coach…well…he scares me a little (unlike the coaches of those other teams, who make me giggle)….
