Looks like Washington offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier has accepted the same position at Alabama.

I don't know that much about Washington

but putting up a bunch of points in the PAC ior on Baylor is not that big a deal. However, if Saban hires him I’m sure he knows his stuff. On the positive side our Offense for next year is loaded. It is not like the guy has to start from scratch.

If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.

and we got Coach Mac from the WAC

and he did alright for us. I love it. Chase Goodbread @ Tidesports.com says Nussmeier is in as OC, and that Lance Thompson will be rejoining Saban as LBs coach. Take that, Tennessee!

The Thompson hire is odd to me

i've been fallin' so long it's like gravity's gone and i'm just floatin'...

I don't have a dollar

Will a piece of chewed gum work?

And back to the topic, it is proven that Thompson can recruit like crazy.

Is he kin to this guy?

“That’s why Mama named you Joe Dirt instead of Nussmeier!”

(No, that’s not the correct quote.)

God bless our Dark Lord.

Chris Brown wrote a great article at Dr Saturday, entitled

″Deconstructing: The Trojan Offense ain’t what it used to be″ (they designed it that way).
Thought Sarkisian was a Norm Chow protege, he followed Carrolls orders in redesigning the Trojan offense that Chow brought with him. They moved away from man blocking to zone blocking on both running and passing plays, away from strictly favoring 5 step drops to more 3 step drops and vertical routes.

No idea if this guy is good or not, especially considering Sarkisian was the one calling the plays. All that said, much happier we hired someone with recent experience at the college level
