Releford tried a couple of successful drives but he was denied by the Vandy post players each time
Mitchell has not looked good tonight
that needs to change. Green is working hard inside. Need to get him the ball. Gueye gave us some good minutes.

we've gotten absolutely nothing from Mitchell and Releford
not shooting well either, but I hope Lacey and Hankerson keep putting them up when they’re open. Luckily we’re tied, but Vandy isn’t playing well either.

and this is why in so pessimistic about this team.
Sure we have a lot of young talent, but we are not a top 5 sec team right now. We may have a good nonconf record, but if we keep this up, it will be a reverse of last year.

we played well enough offensively the first 12 minutes or so
a lot of shots didn’t fall, both from deep and floaters and such closer in, but at least we were moving the ball, kicking it out, making good passes, getting good looks. The last 8 minutes or so I haven’t seen seen us look so lost on offense all year. Really scary. Lucky Vandy isn’t up double digits right now.

Haven’t seen shot selection that bad in a while.
Also, can someone explain CAG’s propensity to sit Releford for such extended periods of time? I mean, he’s been the hottest guy we’ve had the last couple of games…and it’s not like we couldn’t use the offense…
this will be a real test for CAG
let’s see what adjustments he can make and how the team responds this half

Especially offensively. Still skeptical about AGs ability to effectively coach an offense. This isnt just vandy being a good team. This is also our offensive ineptitude

We clearly aren’t beating Tennessee on Saturday. So that leaves us 2-3 in SEC play and squarely on the bubble. No SEC title chase. No chance at a good NCAA seed. Just sweating out the bubble again. Worried about just getting in now. We have to respond somehow down the stretch.

Purdue is our best win and they are meh. Osu is terrible. Gatech is not good. We didn’t look as good as you think.

Settle down, people.
It’s just one game. I know that it’s a very ugly one and I know that Vandy exposed several different weaknesses in our game. However, Vandy is a great team, got a lot of bounces, and got a bit of extra love from the refs. Then we made a few mistakes and the wheels came off and everybody (including CAG) lost their composure and it went from bad to worse.
BUT, it’s just one game. We are going in the wrong direction but basketball is a game that can quickly turn around in the other direction.
Show a little patience.

Well that was ugly.
The thing is I know we are better than what we are showing. Vandy is very good, but we were not in the game from the 3 minute mark in the 1st half.
I’m going to watch UK. I do not think we can win, but we sure can play better.
If Auburn was in New Mexico and we never played them I would still hate them and their dumb coach and their cheating players.
Tough loss.
