Rocky Top Talk "reporting" (for lack of a better term) that Randy Shannon (former Hurricane DC and HC) is set to become UT's new DC. They're talking about 5 years, $5 million, like its a done deal. Seems AWFULLY fast to have a deal done to me, especially for a guy who has no connection whatsoever to the program. Shannon made it pretty clear he was in the market for a HC job, so I'm not sure that I believe it, and I said as much on that site. But if it's true, what's the effect on 2012 and beyond? Anybody think it's a big deal?
