03: St. Vincent - "Apocalypse Song
04: Woven Hand - "Ain't No Sunshine"

"Have more babies and. . . .write more songs. . " (that stuff was hilarious!)

Nick Cave has either a very dry sense of humor, or takes an easy-going comfort in answering questions in the most elemental manner. The interviewer is smokin’ hot, though. So, there’s always that to consider. (i have this weird compulsion to get lost in a beautiful woman’s lip movement while they speak. like, . . . . vertigo-like kinda lost. seriously, people should just simply slap me upside the head when that happens. complete strangers even! but . . . funny? no one hardly does, they just seem to let me wig out on their beauty. i would totally think that i was f_cking weird for such behavior, and. . . .i’m me!)

The Soundgarden, Sonic Youth, Lemonheads, & Ladytron jams on your list hit the spot. PJ Harvey, . . . . . .I want her as my undercover lover someday soon. Shhhhhh! though. Aight?
I can’t believe “Nightswimming” came on. I hadn’t heard REM in quite some time on shuffle. Also, the off-broadway play of “Fela” is about to come to an end here in LA. (haven’t seen it, though). I heard it’s tre’ badass.

Fela

Yeah, the Fela musical was playing in Atlanta recently. We thought about going over to check it out, but the plans never materialized.
