What 2011 National Champions Shirt Are You Going to Get?

2011bcsncshirt_medium

So here we are again, basking in the delightful glory of an Alabama Crimson Tide National Championship facing that terrible dilemma: What is the best shirt to buy in order to commemorate this grand occasion?

There's the official game shirt rolled out for the players to don after the final whistle blew in the Superdome (pictured above). While Todd was quick to alert us all to the infinitely more awesome LSU version of this shirt posted for sale on Amazon.com it seems the powers-that-be interceeded and won't allow us to procure any before they are sent to their new home in sub-Saharan Africa.

Still, even the most cursory review of any fan apparel site shows there are a multitude of designs to choose from and, like last time, we're interested in knowing which are your favorites. And if you can find a shirt that can out-Gump this one Todd found, please let us know.

As for me... this one says just about everything that needs to be said, IMHO.

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

These are the ones we got.

Well, my mom picked them up and mailed them to us. Please note the Good luck Bama sock monkeys above the children. They were, I daresay, instrumental in the victory!

i guess that whole bar-with-the-numbers thing is a nike deal

but it looks a little weird in this one:

although i’m considering buying just to add this on the back: “a defense so tough, they could divide by zero”

Actually...

I have no idea if it is or not. the shirt I purchased above is not a Nike shirt. I think it’s a BCS thing this year.
I do like your shirt too…I need one of those now

Maybe we have Coach Cochran so that the defense can be strong enough

I wish I could find (and then post) the artist's rendering I once found of a battle royale in Constantinople's Hippodrome.

It featured an elephant lifting a tiger above its head with its trunk. I dare anyone to find a more badass Championship shirt theme than that.

This is epic

Dad still has, and still wears, his shirt from ’92. He usually wears it out in public sometime around the beginning of football season “to remind LSU fans there was football before 2003.”

If y'all will remember for the 2009 National Champioship

I pretty much bought out Football Fanatics. I did the same this year. I ordered 9 t-shirts, the locker room cap, a pennant, a keychain, a car magnet and of course a tervis tumbler. I got the crystal ball t-shirt on the front like above and the locker room one too. But these are my 2 favorites: Alabama Crimson Tide 2011 BCS National Champions Sublimated T-Shirt – White and Alabama Crimson Tide Ladies 2011 BCS National Champions Script T-Shirt – Gray And I have this one coming from my Mom in an adult size too.

I also ordered a couple of t-shirts for my Navy cousin who is now in Germany and his wife and daughters.

ALLLLLLLLLLLLL of them

Seriously, its a good thing I don’t live in Bama. I have enough restraint not to buy a million shirts when I have to go through the process of ordering them online. However, if I were just walking past them, or had tons of sources to just buy these things on a whim, I’d be in trouble. I will annually spend $200+ on t-shirts alone at Hibbett when we visit family that still lives in Athens.

My LSU-fan girlfriend already laughs at me. She always says my closet is “40% Bama crap, 40% dress shirts, 10% pants, and the other shit you don’t wear.”
