Paternoaintdeadyall

To clarify the earlier confusion, CBS Sports and Twitter conspired to try to kill Joe Paterno earlier tonight, but he has apparently survived that assassination attempt. Kind of seems like this is just a short delay of the inevitable based on the information floating around, but nevertheless Paterno hasn't met Norm McDonald Adam Carolla just yet. All of the Sandusky scandal insanity notwithstanding, best of wishes to JoePa and his family.

Addendum: The official apology from CBS Sports over the fiasco.

Not to morbid,

but hopefully he has or will be administered Last Rites. Hopefully he can have some peace of mind. That said, best wishes to him and hopefully a recovery.

May God rest his soul...

and have mercy on his family.
