Shoulda stated...
…that my phone was on the fritz, and I had to Pandora this one in yesterday, so don’t give me too much credit. I did get to see Ugly Duckling perform about a decade ago (old guy feels old), and like most of my generation, I had the last three on cassette/vinyl/cd/whatevs back in the day. It made me wonder why I don’t use Pandora more often, though. I had a blast listening to these yesterday (directing browser to Pandora as we speak)….

Last Tuesday. . . .
. . . .I went surfing during lunch. Almost had to take the rest of the day off, the Ole Lady (ocean) was just kicking ass. Sitting in my truck, heading back to work- I had Leonard Cohen blaring (some of his new stuff). Swear, I played that “The Darkness” song over and over.
I get to work and I feel like that guy, Lee the Agent, in the book/movie “Naked Lunch”. My head got warped from the waves and Leonard. I was high, and totally out of it. Contact high, that is.

Squeeze has got some excellent music to match their poetic lyrics
The piano on that song is blasting. My wife’s been listening to all this 70’s funk and 80’s New Wave type-music lately. I also found myself listening to some Echo & The Bunnymen, Simple Minds, REM, Smiths, Bootsy Collins, George Clinton- I’m surprised the Jacksons came on instead of Earth, Wind, & Fire.
I’ve been EWF’d the heck out lately! I played “Gotta Get Into My Life” and “All The Things She Said” OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER!
Talk about music with lyrics. . . ?

Generally...
…you put your IPod/IPhone/whatevs on a random shuffle mode and list whatever it spits out for you. Occasionally, some of us will (as I did this time) use Pandora or another music site and list the first ten songs it plays. You will sometimes find people making non-random Random 10 lists, but the idea is just to leave it in the hands of whatever device you’re listening to and list what it provides. Hope this helps. And...
…it’s especially fun when it either a) churns out an epic list or b) lets everyone know about that Kylie Minogue song in your iTunes.
...and the rest is still unwritten.
'There are two pains in life. There is the pain of discipline and the pain of disappointment. If you can handle the pain of discipline, then you'll never have to deal with the pain of disappointment,'- Nick Saban
I didn't know who Kylie Minogue was until. . . .
. . . .hung out at my sister’s house and my nieces & nephews were blaring “The Wiggles”. She sang this song, I think it was an ancient Specials song (Monkee Man).
Duuuuuuuuuuude! I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She’s teh hotzz, yarrrrrr!
What’s up with Kylie though? Is she on the sad side of horrid? I don’t have an opinion on her other than that Wiggles video. She’s got an incredible neck, ahem! Nice ankles too!!!!

Kylie
She did a duet with Nick Cave on his “Murder Ballads” album called “Where the Wild Roses Grow.” Great song. There’s an official video on the YouTubez. Czech it out.
Watched replay on espn 3 lastnight.
Truly an exercise in defense.Flat out awe inspiring performance by the Tide.‘’The Make Their Ass’s Quit’’ideology was taught and executed to perfection.By the second half their whole sideline was shell shocked, with ever so often fleeting hope.A.J. was spot on for the most part, placing the ball right on the hands of the receivers.I think we are just on the cusp now of seeing how great he will become.I believe our WR core will be a strength next season, despite the youth.
1.DBT
2.Alabama Shakes
That is all.Had to throw in a few bands to make this list,to justify my soapbox ramblings.
