How is it that every season produces a coach who (with nary a leg to stand on) complains how unfair the system is? In 2011, Gundy and OK State dropped a game to unranked Iowa State in overtime and then decided to be on the vanguard of the downtrodden by attempting to piss-and-moan his way into the hearts and minds of voters whose amnesia he was banking on when it came to prompting a situation in which OK State would theoretically earn a leapfrog of Alabama into the #2 spot.
And now Jimbo Fisher feels dumped-on by the big, bad system which deigns to highlight his team's loss to an unranked NC State (and these titans currently stand at 6-5) not to mention the brutal, unthinkable non-conference gauntlet-for-the-ages that FSU heroically withstood as they held-off Murray State and Savannah State by a combined 124-3. Oh, the humanity.
No, I am not with the crowd that reflexively goes against FSU. However, the wannabe contenders that whine and complain about their unfair lot in life after not only dropping a game to a terribly-inferior opponent, but buttress their schedules against non-con bulwarks like Savannah & Murray State are as embarrassing to college football as the immature, entitled types that storm out of their press conferences.
