Stumbled across this article from Reign of Troy. It looks at the circumstances surrounding our NCAA sanctions handed down in 2002 and the direction of the program thereafter, and compares USC's current situation to that time in the Crimson Tide's history. The comparison of Lane Kiffin to Dennis Franchione was probably the most noteworthy part; it's something I'm surprised I haven't grasped already.
