Alabama Rounds Out 2013 Schedule With A Visit From An Old Friend

The Alabama football team has filled the final open slot for the 2013 schedule with a familiar face in tow.

It was announced today that the Tide will get a visit from the Colorado State Rams and their head coach Jim McElwain on September 21, 2013. They will return to Bryant-Denny Stadium for a second game in either 2015 or 2017.

McElwain, who was offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama from 2008-2011, earned two BCS Championship rings before accepting the head coaching job at Colorado State. After defeating archrival Colorado in Week 1, the Rams sputtered to a 4-8 record in 2012.

CSU will receive $1.5 million for each game.
