Sorry to bring this over here, but I JUST CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!
Tim Tebow has been passed over as starting QB for the Jets by our own Greg McElroy. Now, I'm guessing this decision was based on football skills and such, but there are all sorts of conspiracy theories about it on ESPN.
Apparently, the entire NFL is prejudiced against Tebow because he:
1.Is white.
2.Is religious.
3.Is saving all his best football for "Crunch Time".
Look, I respect Tebow's abilities-AS A COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYER!
He is too slow for the NFL. He has a horrible throwing motion. He cannot read an NFL defense to save his mother's life.
I'm not writing this out of loyalty to McElroy: he may not be the answer for the Jets either.But do they really believe that Rex Ryan would jeopardize his own job just to give the finger to Tebow?
I'm watching too much ESPN...
