So this is my long story about this sort of thing.

My senior year at Alabama (last year) I went to most softball and baseball games. One day there was both a softball game and baseball game within a few hours of each other so I decided to go to both. I show up to the softball game and immediately get asked to answer the trivia question for a gift certificate to Newk’s. The girl takes me aside and basically tells me the answer so there aren’t any embarrassing moments. Long story shorter, she told me the wrong answer. She apologized profusely for the incident and gave me the gift card anyway.
After the game I went to the baseball field and a friend of mine was trying to find someone to answer THIS trivia question. He asked me to do it and I was skeptical after my first mishap of the day but I thought it would be too good a story to answer two trivia questions at two different events in one day. I went to the press box and they pretty much told me the answer again. The answer was “B”. When I said “B” the P.A. guy thought I said “three” and he was like “oh sorry the answer was B”. . . Literally everyone in the press box said simultaneously, “HE SAID ‘B’”. The guy tried to play it off like he was trying to fake me out but everyone up there knew he messed up.
Anyway, two $10 gift cards later I barely bought my roommate and me dinner that night.
Whew. Sorry. Had to tell that story.
