Alabama is making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2006. The Tide was in the tournament for five straight years from 2002 to 2006 before the program eventually bottomed out under Mark Gottfried and Anthony Grant is righting the ship in the wake of the disaster left to him by Gottfried. People had higher hopes for Alabama this year than what was actually achieved, but the team was being consistently shuffled into inconsistency because of injuries and suspensions. The team finished as NIT runner ups last year and anything less than an NCAA tournament berth this year would be a disappointment. That being said, Alabama made it into the tournament as a 9-seed bubble team. Do you deem this year's basketball season a success?
