Auburn awaits an official statement from city officials after a shooting at University Heights apartment complex on Longleaf Drive Saturday night. A press conference is scheduled at University Heights at 11 a.m. Two former Auburn football players Ed Christian and Ladarious Phillips, and current Auburn football player Eric Mack were the football players shot, according to social media notifications. Social media notifications from current and former football players claim Christian and Phillips died, but Auburn police have neither confirmed or denied this information. According to Mack's twitter account, Mack said "I appreciate all the love and prayers for me and two lost homies. May god be with their families."
