In the first game against LSU we probably outplayed them. However, we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. We were inside the 25-yard-line five times, outgained them, punted twice, and scored six points. It is almost not possible. The loss was all about what we did. That is what our player's saw the next time we played... When our players saw the pain their teammates had after losing the first game, it gave them incentive to play harder the second game. That is what you saw in the national championship game. When the other team cannot get across the 50-yard line, there is some relentless football going on.
