Alabama Gymnastics will officially begin the new season in less than 2 months so I think it's safe to assume its the last chance to bask in back to back titles. The Tide will aim for the first Three-peat in UA history. Like football they will deal with everyone's best shot next season. The will also have to face down UCLA and Florida (two teams that have arguably better talent than Bama the last 2 years). Here's some reasons to stay hungry Bama -For all the Gymnastics team's glory, we've never had a perfect season (ie, no losses or ties) -7 National Championships breaks the tie with Bryant and puts Yoculan's 10 mark within sight. -Unlike other home fields, UCLA has only won a title in L.A. (next season's venue). They are not invincible at home. -Florida actually has more SEC titles than Bama. Winning this season would draw us even at 8 -Only 2 other programs have ever won 3 straight.... and they all won at least 2 more straight afterwards. -Florida was the favorite in '11 and even stronger in '12 and graduate no one really important, finishing off Bama may be their whole theme next season. -Reason for Optimism: In this whole video.... only Kayla Hoffman and Geralen Stack-Eaton will not be returning. Every other contributor from BOTH title teams will be back.
