Reuben Foster continues to make his way into the recruiting headlines, this time for a pretty unfortunate reason. He went down with a hamstring injury running the 40 and had to be carried off. As for the long term impact, I doubt it will do much to end his recruiting hype, but stuff like this always makes you (and surely high profile recruits) wonder if the risk of injury at these kind of combines is really worth the reward. Foster is already rated the #3 prospect in the country and is already committed to Alabama with plenty of other scholarship offers available should he change his mind. You like to see that your incoming players have a competitive mentality and want to test themselves against the best in the country, but at a certain point you kind of have to think if you've already got your scholarship in hand there's no need to risk your future.
