I'll be digging up some movies (some of which I haven't seen) that have the number of days til kick off, in the title.
18 Again is a comedy with George Burns, and to my limited knowledge, was the first movie to start the whole persona/body swapping with a younger person theme. Burns plays a millionnaire (which was a big deal during its release in 1988) playboy who is about to turn 81. his grandson is about to turn 18, etc., etc.
K-19 The Widowmaker (finally a movie I have seen) - Highly recommend this one. Interesting tidbits: the movie was produced independently and released in 2002. At that time, it cost $100,000,000 to make but only netted about 65 million (ouch). This movie starrs Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson. The story takes place aboard a Russian, nuclear submarine which has a radiation leak. They have damaged their communications equipment during a pervious test manuever so they have limited options in seeking help. The U.S. finds them first and the drama begins.
20 Dates (didn't see it and appears to be low budget because the director stars in his own movie) is about a guy in LA looking for the woman of his dreams while trynig to start his film career. His idea is to have 20 dates filmed, (only sometimes informing his dates that they are being filmed). In the middle of this he finds the woman of his dreams but he wants to complete the "film" project.
"21" is the fact-based story about six MIT students who were trained to become experts in card counting and subsequently took Vegas casinos for millions in winnings. Other mentions include 21 Grams and 21 Jump Street (the recent remake).
22 Bullets: A French movie starring Jean Reno as a former mafia boss Charlie Mattei, who for three years led a peaceful life with his family until past catches up with him. Mattei is ambushed in a parking lot and left for dead with 22 bullets in his body. Against all odds, he survives to take revenge on his killers.
The Number 23: A 2007 psychological thriller, stars Jim Carrey in a more dramatic role The basic premise is Carey plays the role of Walter, whose wife bought him a book titled The Number 23. The book is about a detective who meets a woman with a bizarre obsession with the number 23. This obsession drives her to murder her boyfriend and commit suicide. Walter also becomes obessed and his life starts to mirror the book.
24 Hour Party People: DISCLAIMER: I have not seen this movie so I can't recommend it. Had trouble finding movies with 24 in the title. This is a British film that scored well by the critics. The story takes place in Manchester during 1976 - Cambridge educated Tony Wilson is at a Sex Pistols gig and becomes inspired by this pivotal moment in music history. He and his friends set up a record label and the rest is more of what transpires in the punk rock/dance/rave scene. Think British version of Studio 54. Let us know if anyone has seen this.
The 25th Hour. The main plot of the movie is about a drug dealer who has 1 day left before going to prison after being ratted out. Ed Norton plays the lead role.
