This week we're providing the dessert and/or munchies with some peanut butter and banana cookies. Full disclosure, this is the first time I have ever attempted to make cookies from scratch, and I kinda burned them, but other than that they were fantastic. In fact, I could seriously just whip up a bowl of the dough and eat it pantsless in front of the TV just like I would with regular old slice and bake!* So for those of you that are actually adept at baking, give this a shot.**

Ingredients

1/4 cup Butter or margarine (softened)
1 cup Bananas (mashed)
1 Egg white (whipped)
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Peanut butter
1 1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp Baking soda

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In mixing bowl, combine butter, bananas, egg white and vanilla extract. In separate bowl, combine flour, sugar and brown sugar and baking soda. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, until just moistened. Drop dough by tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake about 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
