Alabama picked up its first commitment of the 2014 recruiting class on Friday night when Northridge junior running back Bo Scarbrough committed to the Crimson Tide, according to a report from The Crimson White.
"It’s been on my mind since day one and I was trying to hold out until my 12th grade year, but I couldn’t hold it anymore," Scarbrough told the Crimson White. "I just want to say "Roll Tide."
"I looked at every school and I saw what types of backs they had, and I think I’ll fit perfectly in Alabama’s offense," Scarbrough said. "I want to run behind lineman like D.J. Fluker and play in the backfield with backs like T.J. Yeldon."

No major surprise given the location, but a major recruiting pick-up nevertheless. Scarbrough looks to be one of the top players nationally in the 2014 class, and with his size he could possibly project to several different positions.
