Although it's only been two weeks, the trend so far this season -- in my mind -- seems to be that the so-called "elite" teams are struggling to put away inferior competition. As I write, Arky is in a fight with LaMonroe, up 28-21, and UGA is down at unranked Mizzou. USC struggled to put away Syracuse, and South Carolina barely escaped at Vandy with Shaw questionable going forward.

Bama certainly looked fantastic in their opener, but I think we are only now realizing just how hideously overvalued Michigan was at #8. I didn't feel great about the game today, and I worry that losing Fowler will make our offense a bit easier to prepare for. That said, my worry is alleviated slightly when I take a look around and see other top 10's struggling.

So my question is, who is elite? It's a bit hard to tell for me at the moment - just wanted to put it out there and see what others thought.
