Sagarin Predicts the 2013 Football Season: Week 11 (UPDATE 11/8)

11/8 UPDATE: So, Stanford just whipped Oregon. Sagarin whiffed on that one, but F/+ nailed it. I may revisit which system I use in 2014, but for now let's see what changed. Updates in bold.

FSU jumped Oregon this week, but Oregon should return the favor if they beat Stanford. Assuming the remaining AQ undefeateds win out, here are their upcoming BSC-ranked opponents: Well, this just got easy...

1. Alabama (#9 Auburn, #8 Missouri in the SECCG)

2. Oregon (#36 Oregon State, #39 Arizona, #22 Arizona State in the PAC12CG)

3. FSU (#11 Miami in the ACCCG)

4. Ohio State (#31 Michigan, #17 Michigan State in the B1GCG)

6. Baylor (#25 Texas Tech, #14 Oklahoma State, #28 Texas)

Can the Seminoles hold the Ducks off in the chips? They should be thanking their lucky stars USC knocked off Oregon State and Arizona struggled with Cal; if FSU can keep lighting scoreboards on fire, they might steal the #2 spot back. However, I'm just not convinced that human voters will defect from Oregon; the Ducks still have a solid grip on the #2 spot in the polls even after Miami's evisceration.

So with that in mind, here are your projected BCS match-ups:

BCS Matchups:

BCS National Championship Game: Alabama (-1) over Florida State
Rose Bowl: Arizona State (-1) over Ohio State
Orange Bowl: Oregon (-14) over Miami
Sugar Bowl: South Carolina (-1) over Michigan State

BCS Automatic Bids: UCF (AAC champion), FSU (ACC champion), Ohio State (Big Ten champion), Baylor (Big 12 champion), Arizona State (Pac 12 champion), Alabama (SEC champion)
