The Night Nick Saban Showed What Loyalty Means...

It was a calm cool night in the great state of Alabama. Reports have been swirling for months about Nick Saban bolting over to Texas and leaving Alabama behind in the dust. Yes, we know about 1999 when he bolted Michigan State for LSU. Yes, we know about 2003 when he bailed on LSU to join the higher ranks of the NFL at Miami. Of course, we all remember 2006, when Saban landed in Tuscaloosa and became the 27th head coach of the Crimson Tide. But on the night of December 13, 2013...Nick Saban had something else in mind. "Too damn old" to start anywhere else, he said on his coach show the month before. Deny, deny, deny, like he did before so before bolting to other head coaching jobs. But he has something else in mind close the speculations. He shut the mouths of all those Texans saying "we will pay him 10 million!" He shut the mouths of those pigeons down in the south, when they yelled "Sabans leaving like he always does!" Nick Saban showed the world what loyalty meant. To fight on, fight on, fight on men...remember the rose bowl we'll win. Nick Saban showed that loyalty is....Roll Tide. And to you Nick Saban, we will remain loyal until the day you decide to retire from our great university.
