Roll Frozen Tide, Roll -Erik

The Frozen Tide are going for the Back-to-back Conference Championship after defeating Georgia 5-1 on Friday night and South Carolina 3-2 last night. South Carolina and Arkansas were the two teams Alabama defeated at the Regionals last weekend to advance to the National Championships. This will in all likelihood be a great game (even if you don't fully understand hockey, like me).

The SECHC Championships are in Huntsville - SC and UF have a third place game prior to the puck drop for Alabama - Arkansas at 2:30CT today. If you're in Huntsville, consider making your way to the Iceplex. If you're not in Huntsville, @AlabamaHockey will tweet a link to listen to the radio broadcast when it starts. I'll post that link in the replies when I get it.

In case you're wondering, the SECHC includes 10 of the SEC member schools - the other 4 apparently don't have hockey yet- Missouri, Kentucky, Texas A&M, and LSU.
