What an episode last week, huh? I think it was one of the top three episodes of the entire series for me. Brilliant writing, strong character development, inspired acting, and one of the coolest shots of the series.
Seriously, that looks like the comic come to life. Beautiful.
Moving on, last week we finally found out what Morgan had been up to since the series pilot, and it turned out things have been... not great for ol' Morgan. I don't follow the Emmy's at all, but Lennie James just won the Emmy in whatever category he falls in, as far as I'm concerned.
We also learned that Michonne has a sense of humor, is protective of Carl, and has empathy for Rick and his crazy-crutch. In short, Michonne turned into a full-fledged character last week, and I finally care whether or not she dies beyond losing her samurai sword zombie slayings.
RIP, Backpack guy.
This week, the previews indicate that Rick and the Governor are finally going to have a pow wow to try to work out their differences peacefully. Something tells me, though, that they aren't exactly going to see eye to eyehole.
While waiting for the episode to start, here's a short vid from Maxim of Maggie answering questions, being British, and looking adorable as ever. LINK
